History
All Saints Parish was formed in April of 2005 after officially consolidating St. Cyprian Parish of Waterford and St. Matthew-in-the-Woods Parish of Summit Township under then pastor, Fr. Thomas Whitman, and continued to worship on Townhall Road in Summit Township until the new church was built at 11264 Route 97 N in Waterford. Rather than combine the names of the two parishes, voting took place and the name "All Saints" was overwhelmingly chosen. Ground breaking took place in July 2005. All Saints Parish was dedicated by Bishop Donald Trautman in July of 2006. The church seats 350 people and includes elements from both former churches. The crucifix, altar, and ambo came from St. Matthew's. The tabernacle and the Stations of the Cross came from St. Cyprian's. Everything else was new. In addition to the Worship Space the parish includes a rectory, office space, and a social hall which can be divided into classrooms for religious education. What the two parishes dreamed alone remained a dream, but what they dreamed together, became a reality.
